The resident gardens are one of the glories of Idlewood Inn, offering some of the best times to enjoy the outdoors. Lay out a blanket for some reading on the lawn, stretch out on one of the many benches shaded in garden corners, or stroll by the vegetable garden (maintained by the student residents). The upper lawn is also a natural place for pick-up games of soccer, cricket, or frisbee.
In nice weather, you may be tempted to take your meal out on to the gardens, or utilise the BBQ. Residents often use this area as a comfortable workspace out in nature, working to their laptops while enjoying the fresh air. In the evening, you’ll find this the best spot to take a quiet stroll to gather your thoughts.
